Miss Philippines Earth 2009 Sandra Seifert (with Photos). Sandra Seifert won the coveted crown of Miss Philippines Earth 2009 at the Coronation Night held at the Arena Entertainment and Recreational Center of the People, San Juan City. Sandra, a Filipino-German model, will be representing Miss Philippines in the Miss Earth 2009 planned to be held on October this year.

Sandra, 25, stands 5’9”, measures 33-24-33 represented Negros Occidental and a Registered Nurse. She won most of the preliminary and sponsorships awards namely, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Cultural Attire, Gandang Ricky Reyes and Miss RCBC E-Woman. Sandra is a heavy favorite and is already expected to win.

The judges were Lara Precious Quigaman (Miss International 2005), Efraim Genuino (Pagcor), Ginger Conejero (Miss Philippines Earth Air 2006), Dr. Graciano Yumul, Leandro Enriquez and Cindy Lotuaco Ejercito (1988 Mutya ng Pilipinas).

The year’s production is described to be the best of Miss Philippines Earth - from the best set of winners, to the great hosts.

There are 50 delegates who competed in the pageant representing various cities and selected Filipino communities abroad.

This year’s batch of delegates was participants to two world records namely, Guinness World records as the “Largest March Against Illegal Drugs” and Philippines topping the Earth Hour

Miss Philippines-Earth’s grand coronation was held at the 4,000-seater Arena Entertainment and Recreational Center of the People, in San Juan City. The three-hour extravaganza started at 7:30pm and had a delayed telecast on ABS-CBN-2 and The Filipino Channel at 9:30 p.m.”(WE)
